Here in Koh we love to work with local suppliers and it’s no different when sourcing our teas and coffees. Our coffee is a special ‘Koh Blend’, made for us by Natalie and her team at Sasha House Petite (Dublin’s first French/Slavic coffee & pastry bar, based on Drury Street) who produce their own micro-roasted coffee, in-house. The Koh Blend is composed of 2 types of beans, both Speciality Arabica: Red Catuai varietal, 75% in our blend, from the Monte Cristo co-operative, Da Terra Estate, Brazil and Bourbon, 25% in our blend, from El Molino farm, Santa Barbara district, El Salvador. El Molino won the Perfect Barista Cup at The World Barista Championship in Melbourne in 2013. The result is a delicious coffee that is round bodied with predominant chocolate notes, a sweet and creamy mouthfeel and a prolonged aftertaste with lingering delicate acidity. You really have to try it!
Our teas and tisanes are supplied by Wall and Keogh®, here in Dublin. We are delighted here in Koh to offer a selection of their fantastic teas and tisanes to our customers.
